ALWIS e.V. has been organising summer camps for pupils of the general secondary schools in Saarland since 2006. In workshops, lectures and company visits, the young people learn what working life means and how they can prepare for it in a targeted manner.

This year, a number of pupils visited our research group to look into the subject of networked driving. After a short introductory lecture on the FGVT, the laboratory tour followed and the presentation of the electronic brake light by means of a table extension in the hall. Finally, the students were able to take part in test drives and experience the use cases ‘Wrong-Way-Driver-Warning’ and ‘Broken-Down-Vehicle’ on the grounds of the InnovationsCampus Saar.

In this context, we would like to thank our research assistants Adrian Müller, Juri Golanov and Nader Salahi, who made a significant contribution to the success of this visit by preparing and conducting the visit accordingly.
