The president of htw saar visiting the testfield

The new president of htw saar, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Leonhard, together with the Dean of the IngWi Faculty, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dietmar A. Brück, visited the ITS Research Group (FGVT) in the test field for connected automated driving in Merzig. In the course of a short presentation of the team members of the FGVT and a historical outline of the previous project activities, both gained an insight into the research activities carried out so far. At the subsequent demonstration round, they could experience the presented driving functions in everyday traffic. Finally, one of the research junctions in the city center of Merzig was visited and its function in the real laboratory of ITeM was explained in more detail.
